1. Perform protection system coordination studies and develop transmission and substation protection system relay settings

2. Maintain Protection Engineering databases

3. Support relay project trip check procedures, protection system testing procedures, and other engineering documents for installing, commissioning, analyzing, trouble-shooting, and documenting the general practice for the protection and communication systems and associated substation equipment

4. Support construction and maintenance personnel during the installation, testing, commissioning and trouble-shooting of protection systems

5. Support maintenance personnel in PRC -005 compliance related efforts

6. Support Protection Engineering regulatory compliance

7. Utilize ESD's Quality Management System work procedures

• Graduation with a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in Engineering, plus three (3) years experience related to the job.
• Masters degree in engineering may substitute for experience up to two (2) years.
